The Edge R&D

The Edge Research and Development (EdgeR&D) provides full-time
professional personnel to conduct classroom and field instruction and
perform duties as Pre-Mobilization Instructors for Theater Specific
Individual Readiness Training (TSIRT), as we train pre-deployment
individuals and collective training in accordance with published
training guidelines at the designated training sites at Fort Bliss,
Texas. Mobilization Instructors support training, including General
Infantry Skills, Combat Lifesaver tasks, Detainee Operations, and
Range Operations.

The EdgeR&D maintains and updates all courseware as needed to
ensure accuracy and relevancy of supported material. Prior to
conducting a class of instruction, Edge R&D personnel attend
stringent instructional training to certify on each module of instruction
in accordance with existing procedures. Edge R&D Instructors are
subject matter experts on all 40 Warrior Tasks, thereby providing first
class instruction while augmenting military instructors in training the
following objectives:

In addition to the EdgeR&D Instructors' proficiency in all 40 Warrior
Tasks, each instructor is highly knowledgeable and experienced in
OIF/OEF and Individual/Collective training, knowledgeable of the
Military Decision Making Process, and the Army After-Action Review
(AAR) process. Edge R&D Instructors possess an Honorable DD
Form-214 and express themselves in English, meeting the oral and
written grammatical guidelines in DA PAM 600-67, while possessing
excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with
students/soldiers.
