| The CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) Mission The Edge Research and Development provides Operations and Training Management to the CONUS Replacement Center focusing on both military and civilian deployments to the CENTCOM Theater of Operations. The CRC manages all facets of the deployment and redeployment process through the coordination of training, processing and movement; provides guidance to commanders and staff pertaining to training policy, application, programs and other administrative functions. The CRC also carries out the following: - Participates in CRC doctrine development with the TRADOC and Army Staffs and applies analytical and evaluative methods to streamline the efficiency and effectiveness of program and staff operations. - Coordinates with installation support agencies to ensure rapid execution of approved courses of action. - Develops new and innovative work methods focusing on quality management operations and functions. - Coordinates with higher headquarters for support to include the Training and Doctrine Command, Department of the Army General Staff and other applicable military and civilian agencies. - Serves as the operations conduit and subject matter expert for all administrative, operations and training inquiries. - Develops workable planning options while analyzing the management objectives and develops criteria to the measure program effectiveness and/or organizational productivity. - Advises senior managers on all administrative, operational, training and safety issues to ensure accuracy and enhance decision making. |
