| Taking care of Soldiers at Fort Lee, The Edge Research and Development is teamed with Logistics Management Resources Inc. (LMR) and General Dynamics Information Technologies (GDIT). Our team provides qualified supervisory, technical, administrative, and clerical personnel to accomplish all of the required work and services required by the Fort Lee Adjutant General (AG). The Edge R&D provides dedicated, motivated personnel to perform the critical tasks of supporting our Soldiers, retirees, family members, government civilians, and contractors, in the diverse and multi-functional aspects: • ID Card Section – Issue and renew active, National Guard, retiree, civilian and family member cards. Our team ensures that the individuals DEERS are updated as required for medical support. • Mail Section – We ensure mail is properly handled and safe- guarded against fraud and abuse, maintaining the appropriate level of vigilance, and the required personnel. • Reassignment Section – The Edge R&D provides verification, travel assistance and departure document processing. In addition, we provide tactical Army combat service support operations. • Mob/Demobilization Section – We provide the necessary Soldier Readiness Processing for the installation; moreover, we support the Mobilization/Operation Plan and for contingency operations announced by the Human Resource Directorate. • Officer/Enlisted Records and Promotions Section – The Edge R&D ensures records are properly maintained and updated. We also monitor the promotion windows, and liaison with Human Resource Command and the appropriated subordinate commands and tenant activities. |
